Water-efficient data centers are becoming increasingly important as AI workloads and high-density computing environments place greater demands on cooling infrastructure. Vertiv's PurgeRite NearZero service addresses this challenge by recycling water used during the commissioning of closed-loop hydronic cooling systems. The process combines engineered flushing, filtration, water treatment, reverse osmosis and continuous monitoring to reduce the amount of fresh water required while minimizing wastewater generation.
