The Papago Vans ‘El Capitan’ conversion is a rugged off-grid van built on a Mercedes Sprinter AWD platform, set up for travel that goes beyond standard campsites.
This particular camper van pairs a trail-ready exterior with a surprisingly refined interior that feels closer to a small cabin than a typical van build.
On the outside, the setup focuses on capability, with all-wheel drive and upgrades that support rougher routes and longer trips.
