Aristides Dallas Architects, an Athens and Tinos-based practice, has received the 2026 Architizer A+Award in the Unbuilt Hospitality category for Shared Ground. This project stands as a contemporary interpretation of the Greek village.

Aristides Dallas Architects reimagined the spatial intelligence of historic Greek settlements through a modern architectural language. Shared Ground investigates the underlying principles of traditional villages, focusing on gradual growth, spatial diversity, and collective character. These qualities are translated into a hospitality environment where architecture emerges from the landscape. The masterplan is organized as a dispersed settlement following the site's natural topography, with buildings positioned and rotated according to the terrain and curved circulation paths responding to existing contours. Accommodation units are grouped into three residential typologies and organized into small neighborhood clusters around shared outdoor spaces.
