Mayores Amigos 將老人院院友與年長犬隻配對
Leti Pharma 與 VML Health 合作，推出「Mayores Amigos」（意即「年長好友」）計劃，將居於安老院舍的長者，與來自動物收容所的年長狗狗連繫起來。透過 Mayores Amigos 平台，各中心可為住客及狗狗進行配對，用戶亦可登記領取一套配套用品，包括一條供寵物佩戴的頸巾，以及一件供長者穿著的 T 恤。
Animal Rescue Granada 總監 Asunción Ruiz 表示：「人們往往猶豫是否要領養年長的狗狗，因為他們認為既然狗狗年事已高，剩下的時光不多，一旦失去牠將會非常痛苦。」「但對於有小孩或長者的家庭而言，這其實是最佳選擇。」
這項暖心活動，建立起互惠互利的連繫，紓解年長動物及常被忽略的長者，各自可能經歷的孤獨與隔絕感。

In collaboration with VML Health, Leti Pharma launched the Mayores Amigos (Older Friends) initiative to connect people living in care homes with senior dogs from animal shelters. Through the Mayores Amigos platform, centers can match residents and dogs, and users can register for a kit that includes a bandana for a pet and a t-shirt for the person.
"People are often hesitant to adopt an older dog because they think that, since it's so old, it doesn't have much time left and losing it will be very painful," shared Asunción Ruiz, director of Animal Rescue Granada. "But it's the best choice for a family with children or elderly people."
This heartwarming campaign creates mutually beneficial bonds, combatting the loneliness and isolation sometimes experienced by both elderly animals and overlooked seniors.
