以學生為本的動手花園計劃
位於西維珍尼亞州的國家歷史地標Martinsburg Roundhouse聯同For The Kids, by George Children's Museum，推出全新STEM計劃，將向Berkeley縣學生派發500套動手花園工具包。此活動亦獲多個合作機構支持，包括Growums、Little Green Thumb Foundation、America The Beautiful Foundation的GROW計劃，以及The Sunflower Project。
此實作花園計劃的目標，是將年輕一代，與食物教育、健康生活及環境管理連結一起。此試點計劃，提供適合兒童使用的套裝，讓學習園藝變得簡單又充滿趣味。策劃單位估計，每套套裝可產生約 180 美元的自家種植食物價值。

The goal of this hands-on garden venture is to connect youth with food education, healthy living, and environmental stewardship. This pilot program provides kid-friendly kits that make learning to garden simple and exciting. Organizers have estimated that each kit could generate approximately $180 dollars in home-grown food value.
Through this initiative, school groups visiting the Children's Museum and the Roundhouse will receive the materials and take them home to cultivate their own produce, thereby extending the educational mission beyond the museum walls and into the students' daily lives.
