Dabbagh Architect's mosque design in Dubai is a contemporary and serene place of worship.
The Mosque of Light is clad in an intricate triangular pattern. This pattern is a contemporary interpretation of traditional Islamic geometry. The space is filled with natural light which is achieved by the numerous strategically positioned openings. The natural light helps create a feeling of calm and serenity - which furthers the worshipers' spiritual connection.
This is a unique design as it is one of the first mosques in the UAE to be designed by a female architect. The mosque is located in the industrial heart of Dubai, Al Quoz, and addresses the community's desire for a tranquil and minimal space for prayer.
