The Midwestern retailer Meijer has introduced a new online scheduling feature that allows customers to book vaccination appointments well in advance at rx.meijer.com, even before the vaccines are physically in stock. This convenience-focused feature is supported by expanded on-site clinic offerings for workplaces and community organizations. With these new developments, Meijer aims to make immunizations more accessible ahead of the back-to-school period and the upcoming cold and flu season.
The expansion of on-site clinics, which are offered at no charge to organizations, brings vaccines directly to employers, churches, schools, and nursing homes.
