Craftphilia is crowdfunding on Kickstarter as the world's first fully automated tufting machine, created to help makers, artists and DIY enthusiasts invest more of their time and energy in the creative process. As an all-in-one frame and tufting system that gets rid of the learning curve and repetitive manual work, Craftphilia makes it easier for people to turn images into finished pieces of art.
The first step of creating with Craftphilia is uploading an image so that it can be processed and generated into a ready-to-run path. From there, users need to add yarn so that the machine can begin positioning itself and stitching where appropriate. With home and studio safety in mind, the system's enclosed structure keeps moving parts contained.
